Reasons Why You Might Want to Adopt a Puppy from Sweet Meadows Goldens…
Quality, AKC Golden Retriever Puppies. Family and farm raised!
We are proud of how our puppies are cared for. Our Vet has also visited our home to see where and how our puppies are raised. We strive for transparency and can provide references if needed.
Quality and Health
Our adult dogs are all AKC Registered, Health Tested, and the outside Sires we use have OFA hip/elbow/heart/eye clearances. We feed high quality dog food, raw milk, and work closely with our veterinarian to give each puppy the best possible chance at a long, healthy life. We only have a few litters a year and are careful not to overbreed our dogs. Our females are spayed when they are done breeding and will continue to live as family pets.
Home Environment
Our Mama dogs and their pups live in our home, with our family. They are a special part of our lives and we are with them throughout the entire process. Our adult dogs are walked on leash, know basic commands, and have a large, fenced yard. They are never kept outdoors or in a kennel situation.
Affordability
We do our very best to keep our costs down while still producing excellent, family dogs. Our price is $1,300 for limited AKC registration to loving pet homes only, please. We can also arrange for reasonably priced, safe, ground transportation, anywhere in the country, if needed. We do not fly our puppies. We hope to provide many families with the opportunity to adopt a Golden Retriever. They truly are a wonderful breed!
Temperment
We use Early Neurological Stimulation and Early Socialization to do our best to prepare puppies for life at home. Our puppies also do some potty training and are exposed to crates and a variety of sights and sounds while in our care.
2026 WAITLIST FOR DAISY AND CASSIE
As long as everything goes well, we are planning litters with Daisy and Cassie in 2026. I would expect these to be Spring/Summer litters, although someone could possibly come into heat early and surprise us. We will keep everyone posted!
We are taking names of families who are interested in a puppy from Daisy or Cassie. We keep everyone’s names in order and will update on breeding plans. We do not collect deposits until we have a successful breeding. Our deposit is $200 and is fully refundable or transferrable to another litter if needed.
We plan to use the Sires from Valley Creek Farm for our upcoming litters. They all have OFA Hips/Elbows/Heart/Eye Clearances and are genetically clear of all known congenital diseases. Our goal is to produce an English Cream litter with Cassie and a darker/more colorful litter with Daisy, but this may depend on which Stud is available when each female comes into season.
~Sweet Meadows Cassie~
Cassie is a shorter, blocky female. She is very petite and is 55-60lbs. Cassie is 3/4 English Cream. She has a lower energy level and is very kind to our children. She is genetically tested.
~Sweet Meadows Daisy~
Daisy is a taller female and weighs 60lbs. She has a gorgeous, golden coat and a beautiful smile! Daisy is extremely gentle and friendly. Daisy loves to play fetch and adores our children. Daisy is also genetically tested and is clear!
